Geophysical Associate

Delta Geophysics is seeking a strong candidate with experience applying geophysical tools and techniques such as data collection and processing of seismic refraction, MASW, EM, Electrical Resistivity, GPR, and precision locating devices. The ideal candidate will have experience with projects involving karst terrain, location of underground utilities & storage tanks, borehole logging and detection of buried metal targets.

Responsibilities include development of technical approaches and cost estimates for proposals, support for project work plan preparation, conducting geophysical field activities, and analyzing and writing reports.

The position requires work in various weather and terrain conditions, and the ideal candidate must be self-motivated and capable of completing tasks in difficult conditions.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • B.S. degree in Geology, Geophysics or a related engineering field
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of field experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends
