Douglas Sammak, P.G., CHMM
Douglas has over 30 years experience in the environmental and oil and gas industries as a geophysicist. He has planned and managed the hydrogeologic, geologic, and geophysical data acquisition for many engineering and environmental projects. Douglas applies this experience to communicate effectively with clients, and to discuss the capabilities and limitations of the various geophysical methodologies and their dependencies on site conditions. He assists with project planning, data processing and interpretation to ensure that Delta’s results reflect reasonable geologic conditions and meet client expectations.
Martin Young, M.S.
Martin earned his two decades-plus of experience in the environmental and mineral industries, including forensic investigations for law enforcement, archeological investigations for historic preservation groups. He has extensive experience working in isolated areas where self- dependence is a necessity. He has directed geophysical field operations all over the United States and abroad, working for 10 years in remote portions of the Philippines, Indonesia and South America conducting geophysical surveys. Martin’s expertise is in near surface application of geophysical methods includes EM, magnetic, ground penetrating radar, electrical resistivity, and seismic methods. Martin has also built a reputation for designing and constructing geophysical field instrumentation, authoring various software programs for processing geophysical data, and his remarkable trouble-shooting capabilities during field operations.
Matt’s ten years’ experience in geophysical surveys and environmental investigation and his great adaptability enhance his capacity to plan and administer Delta’s projects. Matt is responsible for planning and administering geophysical surveys for Delta Geophysics and supervises project personnel in the field to ensure that our clients get what they need when they need it. Matt oversees scheduling, planning, preparation, mobilization, crew selection, fieldwork, post-processing operations including generating maps and reports. Matt is also Delta’s lead safety officer.
